Shift4 Dine, planned by NPC

Restaurant tech that keeps up with service.

Shift4 Dine brings POS, payments, ordering, and restaurant operations into one ecosystem. We help you see whether it fits, what the switch really involves, and how to build it around your floor—not around a demo.

Built around the floor

One system for every part of service.

Shift4 Dine’s value comes from connected restaurant workflows. We map the components around the way orders move from guest to server to kitchen to payment.

01

Full-service dining

Organize tables, servers, courses, checks, tips, and kitchen communication around a complete dining-room flow.

02

Bars & nightlife

Keep tabs, repeat orders, tenders, and closeout moving when volume spikes and every second matters.

03

Multi-location groups

Standardize menus and permissions while giving operators a useful view across stores, concepts, and teams.

Grow with every shift

Fewer disconnected pieces.

From the guest’s order to the owner’s report, the goal is a cleaner operating picture and less manual work between systems.

⚡

Faster service

Design the order and payment flow around speed without losing control of modifiers, tabs, and checks.

↔

Unified orders

Bring order sources into a coherent restaurant workflow instead of making the kitchen chase platforms.

⌁

Business intelligence

Use sales, item, labor, and location data to spot what needs attention sooner.

▦

Multi-location control

Plan consistent menus, roles, and reporting while respecting how each location actually operates.

A switch, not a shutdown

Plan the change before the first terminal arrives.

Restaurant technology touches menus, modifiers, printers, kitchen flow, staff training, tips, gift cards, online orders, and accounting. NPC helps sequence the switch so your team is not solving all of it during service.

1

Audit the current operation

Document your POS, processing, contracts, devices, integrations, order channels, and non-negotiable workflows.

2

Design the future state

Map hardware, menu, roles, kitchen routing, reporting, payments, and location structure before deployment.

3

Cut over with support

Build a rollout and training plan, confirm dependencies, and make sure there is a clear escalation path.

Straight answers

Shift4 questions, without the sales fog.

What is Shift4 Dine?

Shift4 Dine is Shift4’s restaurant-focused POS and payments ecosystem. Available tools and hardware depend on the selected configuration and merchant program. NPC helps confirm what is included in your specific proposal.

Is the equipment or software really free?

Programs, eligibility, contract terms, and processing structures vary. We do not rely on a headline. We review the written offer, monthly obligations, processing economics, hardware ownership, and exit terms together.

Can Shift4 work with our current systems?

Compatibility depends on your existing POS, online ordering, accounting, loyalty, kitchen, and delivery tools. We identify must-keep integrations and verify them before recommending a final setup.

How disruptive is the switch?

That depends on locations, menus, devices, integrations, and data migration. A structured build, training, testing, and cutover plan reduces disruption. Your consultation produces the first version of that plan.
